I am very pleased to have engaged your company to carry out the electrical installation works at Raffles Place Station, City Hall Station, Tiong Bahru Station and the Tunnel and Viaduct cable installation. Although the contract values for the works exceeds s$4 million, you have made us proud of your company through the good hard works put in by your staff and workers. Although Raffles Place and City Hall are the largest station constructed. I have experienced the least problems with them. I really appreciate your effort put into the project enabling us to compete the works on schedule. Credit must also be given to the good management of your company. I have also enjoyed the good relationship working with you and your staff especially the co-operation that you have rendered to us. This is to confirm that M/s SME Electrical Co. (Pte) Ltd is employed by us during the period February 1990 till September 1991 as the Electrical Sub-Contractor to carry out the installation and assisting in testing and commissioning of the following works in the CTE-II MAE Project:-

1. Cabling, including HV cables. LV cables and control cables.

2. Cable trays, cable trunkings and cable/lighting luminaires support system

3. Tunnel equipment, such as lighting fixtures (total 12,500 nos), lane-use signals, electrical distribution boards, etc.

4. Building equipment, such as LV switchgears, LV distribution boards, Lighting, Transformation, etc

5. Electrical connection to jet fans, variable message sign. Lane-use signals, traffic controllers, CCTV camera, emergency telephone, lighting, pumps, radio communication/rebroadcast system. HT switchgears, LT switchgears, HVAC system, Battery UPS, Diesel generator, fire panels, computer systems, etc.

6. We are satisfied with their performance and like to thank them for their support to make this project successful.
